KUMI was selected as the Prime Consultant to provide Construction Management, Inspections and Engineering services for the construction of designated underground electric power lines. The primary mainline, lateral power lines, and associated equipment were relocated underground to reduce the frequency and duration of power outages caused by damaged overhead power lines to residents and businesses. This was a Public-Private Partnership (P3) between Pepco and the District Department of Transportation.
